- George Mayfield is a veteran of the US Navy and comes from a family of hard-working entrepreneurs. A first generation college graduate, he began combining the grit, determination, and ethics with which he was raised with higher learning. He began consulting micro-businesses while in college, helping other young entrepreneurs make decisions, focus, and practice time management, allowing them to not only have a successful experience but to also remain in the college programs they set out to finish. He helped pioneer the Texas A&M Elite Fellowship Cohort which put MBA grads in business leadership roles and chartered a fraternity to provide mentorship to other students in the community and raised more money for cancer research as a colony than any chapter in the nation.
- He honed his skills for companies in many industries, focusing on process improvement, organizational change, and strategy. Leaning on proven business practices, he has become adept at collecting the right data, monitoring and analyzing appropriate KPIs, and facilitating visionary’s strategies for over 20 years. He has worked with businesses in retail, manufacturing, consumer services, medical, technology, research and development, and security among many others. As a business consultant, He has helped several companies in their growth stages or who have technical and process debt from previous growth.
- George appreciates making new experiences through business networking, travel, and the outdoors. He enjoys woodworking and classic auto restoration and likes to utilize quick wit in conversation.
